The instructions for Akpul
1. Rinse 1 cup of fermented corn dough and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
2. Drain and blend the dough into a smooth paste.
3. Add 1 cup of water to the paste and mix well.
4. Pour the mixture into a pot and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the akple thickens.
6. Serve hot with a sprinkle of sugar or a dash of milk (optional).
